I never changed suits in the first game unless it was a mandatory change during the story.

Depends on the abilities in the suits as changed suits a lot as some came with certain abilities . Loved the iron spider suit

I dunno, I am not a fan of things like that.

I didn't do it in Tomb Raider games, I didn't do it in Spider-Man, I didn't do it in Doom Eternal. I didn't change the appearance of the defaults in Souls games or Bloodborne.

Any game that has unlockable cosmetics (or a character customization screens), I just don't bother with exploring. It feels like I am going against the intended look and feel of the main story.

Even with Cyberpunk, whatever the default character selection is, that's what I will use.

Customization just isn't my thing. I go with what the developer picks for me and move on.

I should probably caveat, if there is a gear system, I use it. So it's not like I would run around a game in base gear even if it changes the appearance of the character - that gear serves an actual purpose: to get through the game without getting destroyed so easily. Changing outfits (or physical appearance) just for the sake of it doesn't interest me. Probably why I would never spend a dime in a free-to-play game because cosmetics mean nothing to me.

I know Spider-Man's suits have different perks, but it's not as if not equipping a suit is a roadblock to finishing the game - so, to me, they are cosmetics.
